Evangaline responds best when treated kindly and spoken to with affection. Give her a few days to adjust and then attempt to communicate. As your bond grows, so does activity. Everyone’s experience is different, and you may not experience her the same way I did. All my dolls and oddities come from estate sales, thrift stores, garage sales, or friends. Wherever they are, they will call out as long as you are willing to listen. I use different ways of trying to communicate with them. Some are easier than others. It all depends on how comfortable they are with you and how open you are.
